Road Trip Wednesday

Today YAHighway says: Blurb it!  In which we blurb our favorite books or our own work.

So, I give you:

Delirium by Lauren Oliver:  An edge of your seat race for the right to love that will leave you drooling for more.

XVI by Julia Karr:  A shockingly beautiful coming of age story that will keep you up at night.

Meh, okay, I'm no good at this.  lol  (By they way, my review of XVI is coming tomorrow.)

And...wait..what was THAT?  Did you see it?  I think it was a NINJA!!

The first follower who comments (with their email address) today will win:

A collection of Bath and Body Works products!  Twilight woods lotion, body spray, hand sanitizer and the holder thing.  ;)
GO!

Okay, now I can comment on your RTW post :) I really like your blurbs! XVI's is spot on! I just finished it last night and I kinda love it.BTW- if I get the Bath and Body Works set, I have to share with the cuz. She LOVES this scent, and it's only fair b/c I ate some of her Sweet Tarts :)

Curses, Marquita!! You know I wanted that Twilight Woods scent. *waves my fist* But seriously, great blurbs, Holly! Now I know who to bug for a blurb when we both make it big. :)

My bad. Now that I read Quita's comment, I see that she's going to share with me. All is well in the world. :)

That ninja sure is sneeky.

Oh THAT'S A BLURB? I thought they were paragraphs. FAIL ERINN EPIC FAIL.

I think the term "blurb" can be used as the same as a marketing line (like above) or as a summary like you'd see on the back of the book jacket....I hope so anyway as I did the book jacket version, on my own work. no less.

Both these books sound great, BTW

Bah! I keep missing the ninja contests!

I think these blurbs are good. Short, to the point, doesn't give too much away, piques my interest.

Oooh...both books I'm dying to read!

(Love the ninja. Such a clever idea.)

Thanks guys. I went for the quick and easy variety of blurb. lol You know, the kind you'd see on the front cover as opposed to the back. :)

Erinn, I don't think you did it wrong. I think I just chose the, uh, slacker's way out. :P

Hearing that a book will keep me up all night always sells it for me. Great job!
