When the weekend is too strong

You get random posts like this.

Dear Saturday,

Super Spawn and I had a great time with you.  We really enjoyed the movie and playing at the book store, but why did you have to go so quickly?  Please come back.  I'll buy you ice cream.

Dear Sunday,

I don't know what you did to Super Spawn, but it wasn't very nice.  All I wanted was a quiet day at home.  When your mother points out the pulsing vein in your forehead, I think the opposite has come to fruition.  Go away.

I'm serious,

Dear Monday,

Hurry up, I need a break.

**Disclaimer:  I am in no way complaining.  I love Super Spawn through and through, he was just a little more challenging than usual on Sunday.  That's all.  I didn't have any coffee on Sunday, and I'm sure that didn't help anything. lol**

Did you all have lovely weekends?  I hope so.  It's back to work today, my friends.  I've got two betas to get to as well as the work I'm doing on my own MS.  Great fun!  Here's to hoping for a nice, smooth week.  The day job should calm down for me some this week.  Hopefully.  :)

Happy Monday!

That "Anonymous" was me. I hit send too soon.

::sigh:: Boo Mondays.

lol Thanks, Susan. No, unless you work for the feds or a school, you don't get Presidents day off around here.

Lol, it definitely sounds like you had a whirlwind of a weekend. Hopefully things will be much smoother at work. :)

This weekend has been interesting--I played nurse and I like feeling needed ;0) It's one of the crazy things in my personality. I am at the home stretch with my contemp. mystery WIP and hoping to finish before going back to day job tomorrow. Hope things are a lot easier for you during the week! I LOVE that stressed pic btw-totes gonna steal it :)

Quita, I am so tempted to print that pic out and hang it on my office door. lol And good luck on your WIP!!

President's Day. That's odd. We have Family Day over here.
Hope you (and the pulsing vein!) get to relax over the week! :) I'm betting this is one part of motherhood you won't miss much. Or will you?

Yahont, methinks this is the one part of motherhood that remains no matter how old your children get. ;) (or so my mother tells me lol)

*I should really proofread my comments. Sorry for the name snafu, Yahong. lol*

This weekend was long, but that's because I was sick. I tried to do some writing, but had no attention span for it. I did have the attention span to do a first pass over someone's MS though...

I find almost every weekend challenging. It's so tough with little ones. Hope you have a great week!
Just think about how fantastic your MS is... that should cheer you up!
