Things I Love About Steampunk

So, today, in celebration of Susan's Steampunk Month, I thought I'd share some of the images I've stored up for my newest WIP.  Images of some of my favorite parts of Steampunk.  It'll give you a little glimpse into what I'm planning...

Every Steampunk needs a set of brass goggles:

What kind of heroine would my MC be without a spectacular look?

My story is based around the invention of the revolver...

And the world building might just be the best part:

What do you think, guys?  Look like fun?

Looks like lots of AWESOME!

::sigh:: Steampunk is so great for world building and costuming. I think that's why it translates so well into cosplay and video games! :)

Seems like you have a pretty cool idea for your WIP! I suck at world building, but maybe collecting images will help me. :)

VERY fun.

Funny side note, the town next to mine is becoming the international city of Steampunk in May. I'll post more about this later this week.

Omg I LOVE steampunk!!!! There's just something so cool about alternate history. I think my fav steampunk book is CLOCKWORK ANGEL - so good! And I love your pictures. The worldbuilding is definitely my favorite part, as well.
